Today is a sad day; my grandmother past. I don't think I'm as sad as I should be but I'm sad. How sad should one be, how do you know how sad you should be.

I am soooo sad inside, I didn't know her but I did. We are all connected thru our writing, thru our posts, thru our laughter, our jokes, our disses, and our comaraderie. I can't believe this, Granny is gone.


AS I SIT AND GAZE UPON THE SKY
MY THOUGHTS SLIP BACK IN TIME,
OF THE BEAUTY THAT GOD GAVE HER
FULL OF SPLENDOUR SO DIVINE.


I WATCH A MERMAID SWIMMING ALONG
SO PEACEFUL NOT A SOUND.
I LISTEN TO THE HUMMING BIRDS SINGING
WITH NO ONE BUT MOMMIE AROUND.


ALL AROUND YOU CAN SEE IT
AND FEEL SUCH LOVE AND PEACE
THAT WAS DESIGNED BY GOD HIMSELF
A BEAUTY TO NEVER CEASE.


A BUTTERFLY FLUTTERS CLOSE TO ME
WITH A BOUNTY OF COLOURS GALORE,
LANDING GENTLY ON A FLOWER
LIKE SO MANY TIMES BEFORE.



BUT THIS TIME THE BEAUTY TRULY AMAZES ME
THE FLOWERS AND THE TREES.
THE WIND IS SOFTLY BLOWING
WITH SUCH A GENTLE BREEZE.


THANK YOU GOD FOR HER BEAUTY
THAT YOU OFFERED US FOR ONLY A LITTLE WHILE.
MAY WE ALWAYS BE REMINDED LORD
THAT NOW YOU ARE LOOKING AT HER SMILE.

Motivation

TOO often WE talk about APPRECIATION, being GRATEFUL and really CARING for one ANOTHER, but the PROBLEM is, most of the same PEOPLE we talk about DON'T even know. DON'T let LIFE get so ROUTINE that you NEGLECT telling others how YOU feel about them, making them AWARE of the IMPORTANT part they play in YOUR life. We TEND to wait until it's TOO LATE or until something DRASTIC or UNFORTUNATE happens to say what WE should be saying DAILY. To ALL MY FAMILY,FRIENDS and BLOGGERS supporters THE WALK CONTINUES...I HUMBLY appreciate you ALL, as YOU KINGS & QUEENS have made it POSSIBLE and given ME a PLATFORM to express myself through UPLIFTING WORDS & SERVING IN THE COMMUNITY, and even THOUGH I try my BEST to INSPIRE, ASSIST and MOTIVATE others, YOU ALL serve as MOTIVATION and INSPIRATION to ME as WELL...   ~One to GROW on~

Where do I turn ahen I need....

It's been way too long since I have had a friend in my life.  Wait have I ever had a freind in my life? Friend: Someone to talk to Someone to play with Someone to cry with Friend someone in your corner no matter what Because they know you respect you and love you unconditionally I have a girlfriend in my life I hsve known since the 4th or 5th grade ( Been so long I forgot ) She has become a ....... in my life When I really thing about it I wonder how we have survived through the tests of time Could it be we don't live in the same city Our thinking patterns of life are totally different We have different taste in men I mean really what is it My bigger question is why is she the only one Friends do you have one 

Single in America

Single life is it for you? This is a question being asked by newly single people of all races around the world.  It at one time was a question I was not yet ready to answer but necessary to answer.  I spent the better half of my life in and out of relationships that mounted (In the words of  my Granny) a hill of beans.  There were some good times and as always there were bad times; I will admit the good out weighed the bad.  I traveled all over the world; from Africa to the U.S. Virgin Islands funny in all my travels I still haven't been to New York or Las Vegas.  Nor have I found the one to completely sweep me off my feet.

The single life is not all that bad I must say.  It can be lonely just like being on the top but even that has its rewards.  Experts say there are 100 Good Things to Being Single; I am going to share a few I think to be good.  (Advice from my own expert, ME!)

 I can talk on the telephone as early or as late as I want without getting strange looks or questioned by him.

I don't have to share my dresser or bathroom counter.  More perfume and Mac Makeup for me; YAY!!!!

My dates from hell make for good stories over drinks with good friends

Getting up and going out on my own is priceless.  I don't have to check to see what he wants do, see at the movies or eat.  I am like a "Free Agent"

I can watch Ra Paul's Drag Race and not listen to him complain about the Fagot show Geez men can be so insecure

My grocery and takeout bills are lower.  Takeouts last me until tomorrows lunch/dinner and groceries for a week last two weeks

My new favorite is my fun pics that I post on FB  which brings my friends back to see what I am up too now (Nosy people) lol

No unwanted morning sex just to please him (Sho fly I'm sleepy)

No SNORING that keeps me up all night
